How are my classes different from counseling or therapy?
The Loving for Keeps concepts are enjoyable to learn. Mini-lectures, poetry, exercises, myth-busting, research, stories and humor are part of every class. There are no student presentations and no required homework. I am not a therapist, coach, or counselor. I am a teacher and a trainer. I share stories to illustrate how the Loving for Keeps concepts have helped many relationships including my own. My classes are not therapy. View a list of classes here.
You will experience a new understanding of relationships in a fun, informative, jargon-free, and non-threatening environment.
What are the chances of relationship survival?
The statistic is that 50% of marriages end in divorce. Out of the hundreds of couples who have attended my classes, 80% have enhanced and saved their relationships. I posit that 80% of the couples in the U.S. who get divorced wouldn’t have to if they learned and implemented what I teach in the Loving for Keeps classes. That means The Loving for Keeps concepts significantly increase your chances of relationship survival and happiness. If you could decrease the possibility of your relationship failure from 5 out of 10 to 2 out of 10, wouldn’t you try?
Why would it be worth it to take a relationship course?
Everyone’s relationship needs revitalization, whether you’ve been together 2 or 65 years. You need to know how to change patterns in order to make your relationship better – and it’s easier than you may think to do so! I bust myths about commitment, love, freedom, connection, love, sex, desire, intimacy, and more.
Do you know the secrets of a long and successful marriage?
I have been married for over 40 years and am a mother. I know what works in a real world, day-to-day, long-term committed relationship. Just about everything you think you know about relationships may not be true. That’s why I created a curriculum and developed the Loving for Keeps concepts.
